Hi,
I know Katie has filled you in on Grant's impressisve debut last weekend--he was truly wonderful and Katie is thrilled with him. They are a great pair.
Vodie went to the show, too, doing 2 Training 4 and First 1 tests, getting a first, two seconds (one tied with Grant) and a 6th place. He got 62, 66 and 68.8% except for the 6th place. Nothing fazes him-four of us hacked around the day before the show and he simply looks interested in his surroundings. He's very honest and willing, and has filled out a lot in the past year.
Hope all is well down there.
Regards,
Sheila
Sue,
Rivale was a wonderful traveler...calm and happy and stayed quite cool in the trailer on the way. No sweat when unloaded. He looked around and then went for the grass. Katherine walked him around the indoor and took off his wraps. Everyone came to see him and do the 'ohs and ahh's' then Katherine hopped on him bareback for a walk around the indoor. He looked at her once up like 'didn't you forget something?".. then calmly walked around with her. Then we opened the gate and they calmly walked up the hill together to explore his new abode, which he seems very happy with. Tonight he will be in the stall and tomorrow we will let him in the yard after we get back.
By the way Katherine rode Charlie and WOW! what a difference in him from when she last rode him. Her lesson with you and Rivale are making a dramatic difference!
Thanks for helping Ralphy become a part of our family. I think he is amazed all this is for him!

Hi Sue!
Just a short note to let you know Carlos is doing just fine and is healthy and happy. He is the same sweet, gentle horse as you may remember. Our dressage instruction is going so very well. He's just so very willing to try new movements. And he's showing a real talent for jumping also. I know I couldn't have a nicer horse than Tucarlos. He's a perfect "gentleman," so well behaved, which makes the time spent around him nothing less than enjoyable.
I never imagined I'd acquire a 3-1/2 year-old, but now that he's five, it couldn't have worked out better for me. I want to thank you for your fine training of Carlos. The care and training you gave him as a youngster has certainly helped him blossom into the fine dressage partner I have today!
Happy Trails!
Lydia
Congratulations to Abbey Chase and Bravo Cognn+
Their First Level debut resulted in a Championship for the pair at the recent Spring Classic Arabian Show. Abbey rode Bravo to his Legion of Honor title in 2004, along with Reserve Championships at Training Level at Region 15 and East Coast. Bravo has also done very well in-hand, winning the Region 15 Championship Sport Horse Gelding title, along with numerous Top Fives. Update July 30th. Abby is the Arab Reserve Champion for the Nationals in Albuquerque NM. She also placed 13th overall in first level.
