Wild Dance Stands at Horses Unlimited

Wild Dance

1997 16.2 hh chestnut Hanoverian

Winner of the 100-day stallion testing in Germany 140 points! Although he is a fantastic mover, he also received a 9 on jumping.

Also approved for Oldenburg, Hessian, Westfalian and Rhinelander verbands.

Competitive Highlights

  • 2005, Reserve Champion Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals. This is finale of a prestigious show circuit in Germany for seven to nine year dressage horses competing at Prix St. Georges. Wild Dance and Hubertus Schmidt had the highest qualifying scores, routinely scored above 75%.

Wild Dance is by one of the best Weltmeyer sons, Wolkenstein II out of a St. Pr. mare by Matcho AA. This bloodline combination has proven exceptional.

Wild Dance is nothing short of breathtaking. With elastic movement, natural balance and self-carriage, he is a dream. He also placed fourth in the German National Championship as a young horse. His father, Wolkenstein II, was also the winner of his stallion performance testing and went on to sire 41 licensed sons.

Wild Dance already has an impressive FEI show record. In 2005, with Hubertus Schmidt, he was the Reserve Champion at the 2005 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals, a prestigious show circuit in Germany for seven to nine year dressage horses competing at Prix St. Georges. Wild Dance and Hubertus routinely scored above 75%.

Wild Dance is now in the United States and we will look forward to his first American foals. He has an exceptional temperament and willingness to work. He is a good candidate to refine heavier warmblood mare and add movement to and suspension to the gaits. We are eagerly awaiting his first US offspring in early 2007.
